CHED reveals the top 10 courses in the Philippines for 2012!

THE Commission on Higher Education (Ched) in 2010 listed  the Bachelor in Nursing is still the most popular course taken with almost half a million enrollees!



Will this change now that Nurses are not that in demand abroad anymore? Then, the Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM) as the second most preferred course across the country with more than 130,600 enrollees in 2010.

The following are the top ten most-preferred bachelor courses in the country:

1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing
2. Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management
3. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
4. Bachelor of Science in Criminology
5. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
6. Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
7. Bachelor of Science in Business Management
8. Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education
9. Bachelor of Science in English Education
10. Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
