Zip Lining on top of GenSan City's Brgy. Olympug!

GenSantos City's newest addition to fun and adventure is just around the corner!

If zip-lining is your kind of adventure and you are around the area of GenSan City, then Fifth Mountain Zipline Adventure Park is the place to be. The first ever zipline in Gensan City boast as the fastest and longest zipline in the region.

Fifth Mountain, B’lakayo Adventure Park is located in the highlands of Brgy. Olympug. Located in the outskirts of General Santos City, this zipline sits on top of what seems to be the highest point (2,000 meters) of this city, the first and only zipline in such category that has a breath taking view of the Sarrangani Bay.

You can even zipline upside down in a speed that is unbelievable, and that experience is priceless! So, guys what are you waiting for, go,go, go!

As part of the SoCSarGen Experience Tour: Part Deux which was organized by Avel Manasala of the GenSan News Online Mag, I was one of the lucky ones who got to try their zipline as one of the first patrons. But the first thing that we were made to do in an early morning Yoga hosted by Fifth Mountain Zipline Adventure Park and then a sumptous breakwast was then served.

Local cuisine was served, and the breakfast was really heavy on the tummy. Tuna steak, bunch of vegetable salad like okra, camote tops, ampalaya with singkamas and diced fresh pineapple. One of the main dish is Nilagpang na Manok, a first for me.

'Twas an experience of a life time, food, fun, and adventure at Fift Mountain Zipline Adventure Park!

SocSarGen Bloggers headed by Avel and Orman Manansala of General Santos City which was held last Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Piyesta KTV and Resto Bar was a resounding success.

Although we (me and  Ria Jose) arrived late st the venue since I have still to work later that day and Ria had a commitment prior to the eyeball, we still manage to be there for the event.

Bloggers from as far as Cagayana de Oro, Davao Region and SocSarGen was there for the meet up.

This is the scene that we saw as we arrived there, the place was full of bloggers and and they are already enjoying the party. I was so hungry when I arrived there after three hours drive from Davao City to General Santos City. We arrived there at around 10 p.m. and was glad to see them happy to see us and be part of this big event.

The food was abundant and the drinks are overflowing and we got to meet and get to know each and every bloggers who were present at the eyeball. This is the second time I attended an event in GenSan the firs time was the 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit.

We managed to have a group picture just before every one had to leave and call it a day. There is still a continuation of event planned for the next day as part of the SocSarGen Summer Safari and Mindanao Food Appreciation Tour.

The men in black during the event from left Emmanuel Saripa, Donna Mae Congson, Armando Nicolas PJ and Lyle Santos, they seemed to have talked to each other to wear black that night.

If ever you pass by General Santos City don't fail to visit Piyesta KTV and Resto Bar locates at Robinson's Place!
